In the Global Warming debate or in any other political debate most people are not going to stay plugged in to the debate all the time.  It is important that people stay informed about, if not actively involved in debates on issues that can have a huge impact on our lives.  It is the great threat of a prolonged debate on an issue like this.  People get fatigued by all of the wrangling on a given issue and the ‘fighting’ in general.  If those people start getting all of their information from the ‘easy’ source they are not getting the whole story.  Most of the easy sources are big media sources and they have proven their bias on most issues long ago.  Be a good skeptic, research before you accept an assertion.
